Gregg Rotenberg

Gregg is a 15+ year veteran of the clean-technology industry who is passionate about building great teams that can materially impact climate change. Gregg’s goal is to help Insight M become one of the most trusted companies in the energy sector. The company’s cutting-edge technology and data-driven insights have enabled clients to optimize the profit of their methane mitigation programs and prove their superior emissions performance relative to their peers.

Through 2021, Gregg was the CEO of Smart Wires (Nasdaq-Smart Wires Technology SDB), a company that completed its public offering in May 2021. Smart Wires won Grid Innovation of the Decade” by the World Economic Forum. Prior to Smart Wires, Gregg launched and ran the Renewable Power Group at Chevron, which produced earnings that exceeded Chevron’s targets by 300% and produced investment returns of 30% annually. At Chevron, Gregg led the EPC and investment of over 200 MW of utility-scale solar and geothermal projects. Prior to Chevron, Gregg co-led the development of a new energy consulting practice at one of the world’s largest energy firms. Gregg was also a cofounder of Keystone Strategy, a consulting firm launched by three Harvard Business School professors that provides strategic guidance to many of the world’s most valuable technology firms.

Gregg has an MBA with highest honors from Northwestern’s Kellogg School and a Bachelor’s degree from the Wharton School, graduating magna cum laude.
