John Parks

John is an energetic leader with more than 40 years of experience in the gas and electric transmission and distribution industry and a passion for developing the next generation of leaders.

As Insight M’s Chief Operating Officer, John works alongside our CEO and other senior leaders to build the strategic direction of the business, and he is responsible for ensuring that our day-to-day operations create excellent customer experiences.

His prior career accomplishments include leading a 3,000 person organization responsible for 24-hour-per-day gas and electric construction and maintenance with a customer base exceeding 5,000,000 accounts. 

Process-minded with a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification, John oversaw operational improvements that saved more than $15,000,000 in annual construction and maintenance costs. He was also responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive gas and electric maintenance programs. 

Outside of work, John is a car and motorcycle enthusiast; plays golf, racquetball, and pickleball; and enjoys spending time with friends and family.
